Real Betis’ rival tonight in the SM El Rey Cup, one of the Extremaduran teams most committed to caring for the environment, will wear the logo of the Club’s sustainability platform tonight.

CF Villanovense, Real Betis’ rival tonight in the second round of the Copa del Rey, has joined the Forever Green sustainability platform, which promotes actions to protect the environment, such as the recent waste collection and recycling on the streets of Prague during the match played by the Verdiblanco Club in the UEFA Europa League.
As a result of this agreement, the home team will showcase the Forever Green logo on their jerseys tonight during the cup match. CF Villanovense is one of the Extremaduran clubs that has shown the greatest commitment in recent seasons to caring for its surroundings, as evidenced by its last season’s campaign generating environmental awareness among its fans, launching initiatives such as Bike Day, the eco-ideas contest on recycling, transportation, materials, and energy with local educational centers, participation in waste removal in natural areas of Villanueva de la Serena, or visits to school orchards.
Due to this heightened environmental awareness, both parties have decided to join forces to continue promoting these types of actions and sustainable initiatives among fans, taking advantage of the media coverage of tonight’s cup match and the large attendance of fans at the Municipal Romero Cuerda Stadium.
