An event that has had more than 150 representatives of 50 different football clubs, leagues and national football associations from 17 European countries subscribed to the congress.

The European Football Development Network, an institution of which the Real Betis Balompié Foundation is a member, has held its 16th EFDN Conference “Purpose and Sustainability” from November 8 to 10 at the Rat Verlegh stadium of NAC Breda, in the Netherlands.

The manager of the Real Betis Balompié Foundation, Rafael Muela, was in charge of explaining at the conference how the first year of life of Forever Green is developing and how the sustainability platform is turning the Green and White Club into an example sports institution in the fight against climate change.

This congress is the perfect platform for organizations of all types and sizes to share ideas and develop new concepts.
EFDN is once again meeting its members and partners in person at the largest gathering of experts on Social and Community Responsibility (CSR) in European professional football.
Participants at the 16th EFDN Conference discussed the challenges posed by COVID-19 and shared best practices in CSR strategies, fundraising, sustainability, women’s football, anti-discrimination, social inclusion and physical activity.
