Real Betis’ environmental sustainability platform collaborates with the World Football Summit with different social awareness actions on caring for the planet.
Real Betis, through its sustainability platform Forever Green, has joined the World Football Summit to contribute to making the event – which is being held from this Wednesday at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones in Seville – even more sustainable and respectful of the environment.
To this end, among other actions, reusable bottles are being used and Forever Green containers have been placed for selective recycling.
The carbon footprint of the event will also be measured and offset to reduce its impact on the environment in future actions.
Sustainability is very present, starring in the theme of three panels at the World Football Summit, the most important event in the football industry.
Real Betis with Ramón Alarcón, General Director of Business, was one of the speakers on the panel ‘What are the best measures for football to be sustainable?’ together with entities such as ClimateTrade, 17 Sport, Udinese Calcio Spa and the Junta de Andalucía.
Other actions
World Football Summit has eliminated the use of paper and plastic in accreditations, enabling entry to the event through a QR code provided by the organization through an app.
In addition, sustainable mobility will be supported by making buses available to WFS attendees to get to FIBES and the different actions that will take place in the city.
