Two of the most sustainable soccer clubs on the planet have held a meeting at the Benito Villamarín Stadium.
One of the academy teams of Green Forest Rovers, an English club recognized worldwide for its commitment to the planet and considered by FIFA as the most sustainable in the world, visited the facilities of Real Betis to carry out an activity together with the Green and White youth team and to learn first-hand about the commitment that Real Betis has with the environment through its Forever Green project.
The stadium’s press room hosted this activity in which Rafael Muela, manager of the Real Betis Foundation, explained to the youth players and coaching staff of Green Forest Rovers the main initiatives of Forever Green, the environmental sustainability project that is making Real Betis one of the greenest teams on the planet along with the English team.
In addition, the English footballers shared their environmental initiatives with the club so that they can serve as an inspiration to Real Betis, exchange experiences and work together from the world of sport to save the planet from the climate crisis it is already experiencing.
