The green-and-white club joins forces with the Turkish team to promote actions against climate change
Real Betis Balompié welcomes the Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir to Forever Green, the sustainability platform of the green and white club.
Both clubs will work together in the ‘Promise to Go Forever Green’ campaign, a special action framed within Forever Green that both clubs will promote together.
As a culmination, the two institutions will hold a special event in April.
The manager of Forever Green, Rafael Muela, analyzed this alliance: “For Real Betis and its Forever Green sustainability platform in search of caring for the planet, this collaboration with Istanbul Basksehir is an ideal opportunity for Forever Green to reach the marine environment of the oceans, in line with SDG 14. It is very gratifying to find clubs that share our same philosophy about the environment and to carry out joint actions to raise awareness internationally.
Instanbul Basaksehir President Göksel Gümü?da? commented: “Once again, we are committed to making this one of our goals on an ongoing basis. We are doing everything we can to promote sustainability at our club and among our fans. Today we have reached a new milestone. We are very happy to be able to collaborate with Real Betis Balompié, a very important club with an established history in European soccer.
Earlier this season, Istanbul Basaksehir launched a special Bosphorus kit as part of the ‘Promise to Go Forever Green’ campaign.
The kit’s motifs focus on different water emergencies around the globe.
Thanks to this collaboration, the ‘Promise to Go Forever Green’ campaign will be part of Real Betis Balompié’s Forever Green platform, with the aim of raising awareness of the climate water emergency among Spanish fans.
