The green-and-white Club has obtained the first place at the environmental level and has reached the fourth position in the world ranking of overall sustainability, which in addition to the ecological criteria, includes those related to governance, structure, business management and social and community impact.

In this world ranking, Real Betis is only surpassed by Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and LaLiga, surpassing other entities such as Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, FIFA or Manchester City.

This recognition highlights the work that Real Betis Balompié carries out through its Forever Green sustainability platform, a project that seeks to harness the power of sport for the benefit of the environment.

According to the 2021 report conducted by the GSBS, Real Betis Balompié is the only organization of the more than 140 invited by the GSBS to participate, which has provided progressively and with great professionalism to participate in this year’s reporting cycle.

GSBS assesses in its report that in addition to the overall GHG emissions data from Scopes 1, 2 and 3, Real Betis has also tracked travel trips for at least three years.
