The agreement aims to improve the transportation of Real Betis fans to Liga and Europa League matches.
In the summer of 2017, a fire devastated a total of 10,340 hectares of the surroundings of the Doñana Natural Park, specifically in the area of Las Peñuelas de Moguer.
This Tuesday, Real Betis Balompié has contributed to the recovery of one of the most important protected areas in the Andalusian territory and the largest ecological reserve in Europe by planting native species such as stone pines, cork oaks, and olive trees.
The green-and-white club, through its environmental sustainability platform, will offset the carbon footprint generated by the Andalucía Equality Golf Cup, a Forever Green partner event. Specifically, 24.025 tons of CO2 have been offset.
Real Betis Balompié carries out this action thanks to its collaboration with the Reforesting Andalusia Project. Forever Green has partnered with the Plant-for-the-Planet Foundation Spain to contribute to the restoration of the burned area in Las Peñuelas.
Thanks to the involvement of Real Betis Balompié, the Plant-for-the-Planet Foundation Spain is getting closer every day to achieving the goal of fully restoring this area.
