Sustainability drives the growth of Spanish brands: Zara, Santander and Mercadona, at the top of the top 3 most sustainable brands.

At Forever Green, we celebrate the achievements of Zara, Santander and Mercadona, which emerge as leaders in sustainability among Spanish brands, according to

Brand Finance’s latest Spain 100

report. These three brands not only stand out for their high value, but also for being perceived as the most sustainable and with the greatest potential to strengthen their position through effective communication about their sustainability actions.

Santander
maintains its reign as the most valuable brand in Spain for the thirteenth consecutive year, with a
brand value of 17,600 million euros
, 8% more than the previous year. This growth is attributed to the increase in its net profit and its solid reputation and brand image.

The rising star is
Zara
, whose brand value
soared by 43% to 15,200 million euros
. This is largely due to the financial records of its parent Inditex, driven by a strategy of bigger and better located stores.

Mercadona
completes the trio of leading brands in sustainability perceptions. These three brands possess the greatest potential to increase their value through more effective communication about sustainability, aligning with our goal at Forever Green to show how sustainable actions can boost a company’s growth and reputation.

At Forever Green, we believe that these brands and business leaders are setting an exemplary path to a sustainable future. Harnessing the power of sport and collaborating with committed companies, we continue to advance our mission to fight climate change and make today’s millions of fans our allies in this cause tomorrow.
