Organised by OK Planet and promoted by Forever Green and Real Betis, this action brought together 190 volunteers who collected 9,730 kilograms of rubbish in Seville alone

These are the data of ‘Let’s take care of the Guadalquivir’ in Seville, the first major environmental action that has been joined by Forever Green, Real Betis Balompié’s sustainability platform.
Last Saturday the second edition of this event was held convened by the organization OK Planet, which together with Forever Green, called to action the citizens of the municipalities that run along the Guadalquivir from its source to its mouth.
In total, 14 Andalusian towns participated in this activity: Baeza, Quesada, Andújar, Peñaflor, Córdoba, El Carpio, La Puebla del Río, Coria del Río, Lora del Río, Gelves, Camas, La Algaba, La Rinconada and Lebrija.
In Seville it took place on the banks of the river as it passes through the Vega de Triana park, between the Iron Bridge and the San Juan Bridge.
Forever Green deployed its volunteer corps there early in the morning and later had the institutional visit of the president of the Real Betis Foundation, Rafael Gordillo, Raúl Pérez, director of Institutional Relations of Coosur Betis; the Real Betis Futsal player, Borja Blanco and Luis Puig, player of the Genuine team of the Real Betis Foundation.
In addition, Forever Green was joined by volunteers from the Cajasol Foundation and Patatas Arrebola together with the Seville City Council, Lipassam, the Red Cross and the Seville Climate Network, among other entities.
This has been a local action that is part of the environmental care projects that Forever Green promotes both nationally and internationally
