Real Betis’ environmental program is once again recognized worldwide and is nominated in the WFS in the category of Football for Good.
The work for environmental sustainability and the fight against climate change that Real Betis is doing through Forever Green continues to bear fruit.
On this occasion, one of its most striking actions, LaLiga’s first sustainability match, is among the four candidates to receive the World Football Summit award in its Football for Good category, which recognises the good practices of sports entities beyond competitions.
With this nomination, the organization highlights the work that the green-and-white club is doing in the fight against climate change, raising awareness among the large social mass that makes up its fans and adding more and more allies inside and outside the world of sport.
Real Betis’ environmental sustainability platform already has several recognitions worldwide and more than 70 entities.

During this event, Real Betis and its fans avoided the emission of more than 900 tonnes of CO2e impact into the atmosphere compared to a regular match.
